Serve the best Italian ice with these tips for scooping:

  • Use a scooper with a release mechanism.
  • Start at the tub wall and move the scooper in a circular motion, spiraling toward the center of the tub.
  • Rotate the tub as you scoop to make it easier to serve.
  • Always scrape the ices (no dipping), pushing down no more than 1/2 inch at a time.
  • As you scoop, always keep the product level in the tub, never leaving product on the walls of the tub.
